Tax should not be taxing


So goes the advert for Tax Calulations in the UK. Tax should not be taxing and I agree, but under the current system which depends on bands of tax and a link to status. It also seems the more you earn the more you get penalised by the Government for your success.
So the answer for a simple and transparent tax system that all can understand is to make it a flat rate of 10% for everyone. Just 10% for all. How would this benefit everyone?

  • everyone can work out the tax owed - 10% of what you earned

  • the rate is applied to everyone

  • the calculation is simple so no need for complex ever changing tax calculations this would save millions and stop a lot of mistakes happening

  • because the tax rate is so low everyone will just pay it, it would be more expensive to try and avoid it

  • government's would have to learn to operate on a lower income (see expenses scheme below)

  • foreign companies will want to invest in the UK with such a low tax rate



Earn your benefits


You are now taking benefits from the state and you must earn those benefits. Notingh is free and there is always something that can be done.

To keep your benefits you must:

1. Help maintain our country's infrastructure
2. Keep the streets clean and tidy
3. Help in your local community social clubs

Government expenses scheme


All Government officials including the Prime Minister must update their accounts online within on month of application. These accounts are viewable to the public - some will omit location and time due to sensitive nature.

These will be used as the official accounts with any amendments shown after the fact.

The public will have the ability to question and revoke accounts. If a company is used with a known family member then it must be declared and if work underdone by them then it must be proved that they had quotes from other companies.

If you don't sign up and or keep your expenses up-to-date then you cannot claim!

Immigration - welcome and please help us


Welcome to our Country. To show that you want to stay here and want to help we have these these things to ask of you:

1. Work on our farms for 2 months as casual labour - food and lodging provided
2. Work helping our infrastructure for 2 months - cleaning streets, sewage cleaning.

Once you have completed with your help to our country then you will be applicable to apply for state membership.

Prision Working Garden


Why do prisons cost so much to run and how come the prisoners aren't producing and maintaining their own way of life. So the idea here is to get them to grow their own food and maintain their life.



* Vegan diet - waste into manure
* Self sustaining where possible
* Generate own electricity for needs - self/group
* Water wheel to bring in water - manual process
* Gardening - life skills
* Labour sold for materials
* No concept of leisure time - work/sleep
* Books only available
* Work in daylight - reduces power consumption

A Lasting Grand Design

We have only had our allotment since end of last year (Nov/2014) and have learnt that to get the most from the allotment requires a lot of time, energy and effort - sometimes to get minimal returns.  But gardening in the evening watching the sunset, picking the weeds knowing you will see them again, chewing on a broadbean picked freshly and mostly seeing the fruit and vegetables grow is possibly the most rewarding thing that has been given to all of us.   This is a suggestion for a Lasting Grand Design Project for Kevin McCloud of Grand Designs fame, the legacy of a great programme... ... let’s turn prisons into gardens! 46% of adults are reconvicted £36,808  Annual cost of a prison place 1994 Overcrowded in every year since 84,305 Prison population When it can be said by any country in the world, my poor are happy, neither ignorance nor distress is to be found among them, my jails are empty of prisoners , my streets of beggars, the aged are not

Reuse vs Recycle

Creating "stuff" takes away from the planet, makes big holes that will only be filled with plastic and clutter. So why not try and reuse where possible? We could change our habits so we are more prone to reuse items rather than recycle or just throw away. What to do with wine bottles? An example is a wine bottle, rather than use it and then put it into a recycle bin where it is broken down and then reformed into another bottle (but less pure) why not send the bottle back to the original supplier who can reuse it? I see some social responsibility of returning boxes/bottles/packaging to the original store where it can be returned to the supplier for reuse. Who's with me on this? Who can make a big difference? Recycle gives the responsibility to other people. Reuse gives you the power to make a big difference now.
